Location

Located 12 miles south of Jasper, near the Buffalo National River in Northwestern Arkansas, Red Rock Retreat features two unique log cabins. We fell blessed to live in the Ozark Mountains and want to share their nurturing serenity with you. We have designed and built our log cabins to provide you with a special place to relax and renew your connection with nature, your family and yourself.

Cedar Creek and Hickory Hill Cabins are part of our 130 acre Red Rock farm, nestled in the Arkansas Grand Canyon at the long ago community of Red Rock. The cabins provide easy access to a wide variety of recreational activities in the area, including everything from canoeing in the Buffalo River, visiting stage shows in Branson, to a trip the new Crystal Bridges museum in Bentonville. Though our guest say the best thing is to sit on the porch in peace and quiet, enjoying the view.

Red Rock Retreat borders the Ozark National Forest and has access to wilderness trails. Located on our property is a well marked winding trail leading you into the magic and mystery of the forest where you will follow the creek to a beautiful little waterfall, search fossil hill for treasurers, marvel at the big old trees and enjoy the peaceful solitude.

  • We also have a small stocked pond for fishing (no license required, bring your pole)

  • horses to admire & pet (bring carrots)

  • an outdoor campfire circle (bring marshmallows)

  • birds, wild turkey and deer to watch from the porch.

  • We realize pets are valued family members and invite you to bring them along.
